Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. 


References to "we", "us" and/or "our" in the booking terms and conditions shall mean "The Trustee for H W G Family Trust" (ABN 47 969 653 062) trading as "Holiday We Go".

Reference to "you/your" means a user of this website and/or booking agent. You must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking.  By making a booking and paying your deposit, we are entitled to assume that you and your travel agent have had the opportunity to read, understood and accepted the following booking terms and conditions.

We are an approved participant of the AFTA Travel Accreditation Scheme (ATAS - A13964)

How To Make Your Reservation

To make your reservation or for inquiries see your Local Travel Agent.  If you do not have a preferred Travel Agent, please call us on 03 7002 1888 or email us at res@holidaywego.com.au and we will assign one of our affiliate travel agents to assist with your booking.


All prices are in Australian dollars (unless otherwise indicated) and subject to availability. The booking price will be set out on this website unless it is varied by special offer, including without limitation, to cover changes in government taxes and charges, currency fluctuation, fuel surcharges, airline charges, a force majeure event or other material increases by supplier. Prices are subject to change and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. Please contact your travel agent for up to date prices. Once the full payment has been made, the package holiday price is guaranteed. 


The passenger's name must be provided exactly as per their passport at the time of booking. Any spelling corrections made after a deposit is paid must be sent in writing and will incur additional fees, including any ticket re-issue fees.

Deposit and Final Payment


You will be required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit per person within 7 days of making your booking. Reservations will automatically be cancelled if no deposit has been received within 7 days of making your booking.

Deposit requirements may vary when booking a special deal or last minute special. Special deals or last minute specials are non-refundable, non-changeable and non-transferable. Holiday We Go will advise the deposit amount at the time of booking. Full payment may be required at the time of booking.

Final Payment

Holiday We Go reserves the right to cancel any ticket or booking or to refuse to carry any passenger without further notice where payment has not been received by Holiday We Go within the specific time. Schedule of final payment is listed as follow:

Group and Customised groups may require full payment earlier. Payment Terms and Conditions will be advised at the time of booking. 

Special Deals or Last Minute Packages may require full payment at the time of booking or 120 Days prior departure from Australia. Holiday We Go will advise this at the time of booking.                           

Late Booking 

Any bookings made within 21 days of your departure from Australia will incur a late booking fee of $50 per person per booking. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. If we are unable to confirm your reservation, all monies will be refunded. 

Erroneous Pricing

Holiday We Go reserves the right not to honour any published prices that we determine were erroneous due to printing, electronic, or clerical error. 

Payments or Payment to Travel Agents

We will consider payment from you to be received by us when we receive payment from your travel agent. 

Holiday We Go accepts payment via electronic fund transfer (EFT), bank cheque, Visa, MasterCard and American Express.  A non-refundable merchant fee applies to purchase made by credit card between 2% and 3% and will be added based on the total cost of the payment.

Payments made by EFT may take up to three business days to process. Please ensure you put your invoice no. as reference to allocate payment. We might not be able to allocate your payment if you did not put the invoice no. as reference. All remittance advice MUST be sent to accounts@holidaywego.com.au along with your booking ID or invoice number.

Please review and verify the booking invoice thoroughly to check If the invoice appears to be correct and/or complete, as it may not be possible to make changes later. In the case of billing errors, Holiday We Go reserves the right to re-invoice you with correct pricing.

Please ensure tour package name, departure date, departure city and all passengers' name on the invoice are exactly matched as per their passport prior to you making the deposit. Any changes will incur fees.

Late Payment Fees

Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in additional costs which will be passed on as well as late payment fee of $50 per person per booking. In the event of cancellation by the supplier or service provider due to no payment or late payment, all monies paid will be forfeited.

Any amendment made to a confirmed reservation will incur an amendment fee per change per person, in addition to any charges levied by ground operators, airlines, cruise company , railways company, hotels, or other service provider/s. Any changes must be made in writing by your travel agent and emailed to res@holidaywego.com.au. Once a booking is confirmed, name transfers are not permitted and will be regarded as a cancellation.

Cancellation by Customer

Any request for cancellations must be made in writing by the travel agent and emailed to res@holidaywego.com.au including the Invoice No. and passenger's full name. Cancellations are not effective until this notification has been received. If you do not receive an acknowledgment within 48 hours, please call 03 7002 1888 to ensure your request was received. Cancellation fees cannot be waived. You may also be liable to pay cancellation fees to airlines, travel agents or other third parties. Please note the refund process might take up to 90 Days.

Change or Cancel by Holiday We Go

Holiday We Go reserve the right to cancel or reschedule or change any holiday departure in accordance with operational requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If a holiday is cancelled prior to the scheduled departure date, Holiday We Go only responsibility will be to refund the amount received for the reservation. Wherever possible, Holiday We Go will offer the same holiday with a different departure date, or an alternative similar holiday. If there is a difference in cost, it will be your expense. 


No refund is available for cancellations after your travel has commenced or "no-shows" due to personal negligence or choice. No refund will be made for unused services such as accommodation, meals, activities, transport or other services which are included in the tour/package price. 

Agent's Responsibility

Travel agents are responsible for advising us of any special requirements you may have and to communicate to you any changes or alterations advised to them by us. It is the travel agent's responsibility to ensure that all invoices, itinerary details and documentation issued by Holiday We Go are correct and that the customer is aware of booking, amendment and cancellation conditions.

Visa and Passports

All travellers require a valid passport for at least six months validity beyond the conclusion of the trip as well as between two to four blank pages. If you are not an Australian citizen, other regulations may apply to you and you should check with the nearest embassy of the country you intend to visit.

Please note that for certain trips, we will require your passport details prior to accepting your booking. Furthermore, if you renew your passport after you have booked the trip, it is important you advise us of the new details as soon as you receive your passport and you may be required to take your old passport with you to maintain the validity of the trip.

Passengers must consult with the appropriate consulates to ensure that you have any applicable visas (including transit visas and returning visa) for countries included in the holiday package prior to departure. Multiple entry visas are required for some holidays. The process of obtaining a visa can take up to three months or more. Visa fees are not included in your holiday package/tour price.

Holiday We Go is not responsible if you are refused entry into any country or delays or missed portions or costs associated with rejoining of the holiday package because you have incorrect travel documents or visas. Any cancellation fees or other expenses incurred by the customer due to the refusal of a visa will be entirely the customer's liability.

Travel Advice

All travellers will need to take responsibility for their overseas travel decisions. We recommend that you contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) or visit their website www.smarttraveller.gov.au for general travel advice, as well as specific advice (including safety alert levels) relating to the destination you wish to visit. You can also register your travel plans with DFAT,  so that you may be more easily contacted in an emergency.

Age & Health Requirements

Majority of our trips have no upper age limit although we remind you that a good level of fitness and health is required to participate on Holiday We Go's holiday packages. It is your responsibility to ensure that you obtain proper and detailed medical advice prior to travel for the latest health requirements and recommendations for your destination. You must advise us or your travel agent of any disability, medical condition or dietary requirement at the time of booking.

Travelling with Minor

Anyone under the age of 18 on the date of their first travel is considered to be a minor and must be accompanied by a legal guardian or any other person is required by applicable law for any minor to travel. The accompanying adult is responsible for securing all consents, documentation and ensuring that and the minor(s) meet all legal requirements to travel, to enter into and depart from applicable counties and regions. Holiday We Go will not be responsible for any fees, damages, or losses incurred as result of any failure to secure necessary consents, permits and approvals.

Child discounts are generally not applicable for our packages unless otherwise stated. Please note we cannot guarantee triple or adjoining rooms for families.

Pregnant Travellers

Participants who are pregnant are required to supply a letter from your doctor stating that they are "fit to travel" prior to commencing the tour. Pregnant travellers need to take their own risk and are responsible travelling where necessary.  Medical care for pregnancy may not be available and may not be reachable in a timely manner to address potential medical complications whilst travelling, and any problems and emergencies that can occur during pregnancy. 

Travel Documentation

After booking you will receive an invoice with all important information relevant to your holiday package. We strongly recommend you check the details carefully and read the included information. Please ensure that you check your flight timings carefully on your tickets, particularly early am departures. Approximately 14 days before departure you will receive your e-ticket together with your final itinerary through email. 

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is not included in your holiday package. It is strongly recommended that you take out comprehensive travel insurance for peace of mind before and during your trip. It is important that you protect yourself including coverage for medical expenses, loss of luggage, cruise and land content and airfare charges that may arise, including due to cancellations, disruptions or strikes. Please consult your travel agent on the insurance policy most suitable for your needs.

Not included in our Cruise and/or Tour Price

Airfares, airport taxes and fuel surcharges (unless specified) , airport transfers (unless specified), laundry , vaccinations, passport, visa fees, food and beverage (unless stated), city & resort fees/taxes, credit card merchant fees, telephone, wifi internet, insurance, porterage, excess baggage, personal expenditure, optional excursions, optional onshore excursions and gratuities not specified in your itinerary.

Schedule Changes

We recommend that you contact the airline to confirm your scheduled departure time 24 hours prior to your flight.

Frequent Flyer and Loyalty Programs

Please advise your travel agent of your frequent flyer membership details (or other applicable loyalty program details) for inclusion in your booking. Please check your frequent flyer program (or other applicable loyalty program details) for the specific terms of your membership. We cannot guarantee that the supplier will credit you with points for your booking. Frequent flyer points or miles may not be accrued on special packaged fares.


International hotels are often smaller than those in Australia or Asia. In more remote places, hotel standards may not be quite as high as in marjor centres. Holiday We Go endeavors to utilize the most suitable accommodation available in each destination to ensure that passengers enjoy high levels of cleanliness, comfort and service. The hotels listed on this website are intended to be used on all departures; however hotels are not guaranteed. Holiday We Go reserves the right to substitute other hotels than those listed on the itinerary pages. If a change becomes necessary for any reason. We endeavor to ensure that alternative accommodation is of an equivalent standard to those shown. No refunds are provided for hotel changes; full cancellation penalties as noted above apply. Hotels room are generally not available for check in before 3:00pm and require check out by 10:00am. Holiday We Go are not liable to you for the quality and size of hotel rooms. Only twin-bedded rooms can be guaranteed. All other room types are on a request basis only and cannot be guaranteed before departure. Loyalty membership benefits do not apply.

Cruise Packages

Holiday We Go cruise Packages are based on special group allotments whereby cabins are assigned by the cruise operator on a run of house basis close to departure. We cannot guarantee that specific requests for cabins or locations can be fulfilled. Only twin-bedded rooms can be guaranteed. Any discounts or benefits associated with personal loyalty membership do not apply to our special group packages. Ships are subject to change and Holiday We do reserves the right to provide a substitute of similar standard. Shore excursions and other activities are subject to change and favorable local conditions. Cruise carriers reserve the right to cancel or substitute any scheduled port of call at any time and for any reason whatsoever without prior notice and Holiday We Go shall not be liable for any loss to guests by reason of such cancellation or substitution. 

Optional Programs

Holiday We Go offers a variety of optional programs to enhance your travel experience. Your tour leader will have a list of available options and the appropriate costs.  Some programs must be booked in advance and prepaid. Some programs are subject to minimum participate. 


Tour participants are entitled to one suitcase per person and suitcase must not exceed 62 inches and must not weigh more than 20kg. It is your responsibility to ensure your luggage complies with all airlines and airport luggage safety regulations or requirements. We are not responsible for any excess baggage charges, loss of baggage or baggage damaged during your trip. 


Smoking including the use of e-cigarettes is not allowed on coach transportation or such other places as nominated by us from time to time. On cruise ships, smoking is restricted to certain areas of the vessel.

Special Requirements

Please liaise with your travel agent regarding any special requirements you may have for your travel arrangements such as special dietary requirements and seating requests, room type or disable access. Holiday We Go will pass your request onto the hotel, airline or other supplier but cannot guarantee that it will be accommodated.

Maps are shown for general information and are an indication only, they may not necessarily reflect actual routing, hotel and attraction locations  or services provided. Photographs show places in the geographic areas, but are not necessarily included in the holiday. Hotel room photographs are representative only, and the actual rooms occupied may vary in decor and inclusions from those shown. 

Claims and Complaints

If you have a complaint about your trip please inform your tour leader or your travel agent at the time in order that they can attempt to rectify the matter. If satisfaction is not reached through these means then any further complaint should be put in writing to us within 30 days of the end of the tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be provided for the claims.

Governing Law

If any dispute arises between you and us, the laws of Australia will apply. You irrevocable and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, and waive any right that you may have to object to an action being brought in those courts.

Our websites will only be available at such times as we may decide, and we do not guarantee that our websites, or any website contact, will always be available or be uninterrupted.
